Opioid-Induced Nausea and Vomiting (OINV)
Many HCPs did not realize the impact OINV was having on their patients recoveries. We set out to make it clear that OINV is more prevalent, severe, and unpredictable than HCPs had realized. A variety of nausea in inducing patterns and recovery scenes were created in order to help place HCPs in the shoes of their shoes.
Get to Know OINV
Ralph was created to be the embodiment of OINV. His sole purpose was to be a distracting, obnoxious, disruptive force; preventing patients from having a successful post-surgery recovery.
Bringing it All to Life
HCPs got to experience Ralph and his antics first hand at conventions where the scenes from the campaign were brought into reality. Each area of the booth was representative of a different home recovery environment. HCPs were further immersed through the use of recovery foods; ginger ale, gingersnaps and saltines.
